Title The QACHE Toolkit for Quality Assurance Agencies: Cooperation in Cross-Border Higher Education
Author Fabrizio Trifiro’ - Quality Assurance Agency

Abstract

Earlier this year, I introduced Observatory readers to the QACHE project, supported by the Erasmus Mundus Programme of the European Union and led by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). Over the past two years, QACHE has explored the quality assurance challenges associated with programme and institutional mobility with a view to producing guidance for quality assurance agencies. The project, undertaken by a consortium involving, in addition to ENQA, the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN), the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE), and the national quality assurance agencies of France (HCERES), Germany (GAC), Spain (ANECA), the UK (QAA), as well as Australia (TEQSA), has now reached its conclusion.

We refer readers to that previous article for an overview of the project. The present article looks in more detail at its main outcome, the toolkit for quality assurance agencies Cooperation in Cross-Border Higher Education, which was launched at the final QACHE conference held in Paris on 5/6 November 2015, hosted by HCERES.
